Quite often, people from rural and impoverished areas are not privy to the same quality healthcare as people who are not. HICC was created out of necessity to provide better opportunities for people from rural areas so they may also receive excellent coordinated care for individuals suffering from alcohol substance disorders, general mental health disorders, and trauma. Everyone deserves a fair chance to become and remain clean and sober, experience emotional well-being, and peace from their pasts in order to be a productive member of society. HICC is about helping people take advantage of their chances. Audri Warren and her team work together to help people reach their greatest potential. They are dedicated to strengthening their community. Their goal is to first help stabilize individuals with their most basic needs in order to maximize treatment outcomes by utilizing the realm of community resources.
Healing through Hope: HICC’s “Healing through Hope” program was uniquely designed due to an overwhelming need for structured, evidence-based treatment for individuals residing in the under-served areas of Pinal County.
The program provides treatment to individuals who desire a meaningful recovery program with lasting change.
The program is designed to create internal and external stability with a trauma-informed approach. Inspiration for the program was gained from the Matrix Program (SAMHSA 2014) combined with a Trauma Informed Approach encompassing many teachings derived from the Arizona Trauma Institute.
This design was created to allow each individual the opportunity to learn about and gain emotional and physiological regulation in order to best position them to achieve maximum treatment results.
The program delivery is heavily saturated with the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) treatment modality due to the demonstrated success the cognitive model has achieved in research studies. Family therapy is incorporated into the program and is strongly encouraged as we know treating an individual without family inclusion reduces the chances of long-term success. Following the therapeutic groups, individuals will engage in Life Skill programming which is designed to complement their group sessions.
We believe, individuals cannot begin the healing process until they have their most basic needs met (food, shelter, clothing, etc.) and have achieved increased emotional and physiological regulation. By building a foundation which stabilizes the individual while systematically providing treatment topics which build upon and reinforce one another throughout the model makes this unique plan an exemplary program in its formulation and delivery. We stand firm in our values and mission to ultimately provide “Care through Hope”.
HICC also provides Support/Rehabilitation Services to include employment and pre-employment services, skill development, and case management services.
